About EAQ Brambles Equine Assisted Learning
EAQ Brambles Equine Assisted Learning is based at Home Farm, Napton on the Hill, near Rugby, Warwickshire.

Established by John McLaughlin in 2016 the centre has a herd of ponies and horses along with sheep, cats and dogs. John has many years of experience working with adults with learning difficulties and has trained as an EAQ facilitator as well as completing specialist health and safety training.

The horses live outside on a ‘track system’ which is a slightly different way of keeping horses. The horses can move around the track which has food and water strategically placed to encourage more movement from the horses.

There is indoor space which can be used for breaks, study and shared lunches.  Learners are able to enjoy the farm and surrounding countryside with picnics in the meadow and walks around the countryside or a short excursion to the reservoir just down the lane

EAQ Brambles Equine Assisted Learning offers sessions for children and young people who are finding it hard to access traditional education as well as adults with learning difficulties and those who are looking to improve their confidence, self esteem and well-being.
